Harvest is well underway

Harvest is going well, with some good yields being reported so far. We hope that recent rain and hail storms have stayed well away from your crops. One of our clients sent us this video of five headers in action which is certainly a sight to see. It looks like it’s going to be a bumper year for our farming community.

Super Guarantee Payments
Many of our clients are discovering the benefit of making regular Super Guarantee Payments. For those on Xero, 2 to 3 clicks and insertion of a code and super is lodged and payment taken from your account 2 to 3 days later.  If you ever want a demo, John can show you how easy it is.
If you make a habit of weekly or monthly payments, it makes life a lot easier in the long-term!  Extensions do not apply, so if you use a clearing house, you will need an additional week to allow for the clearance time. If you would like us to send you a reminder every month, please let us know.

Hub Docs software
Speaking of making life easier for yourself, we recommend using Hub Docs optical character recognition as a form of document collection and management. It’s very easy and practical and saves users a lot of time. Great news for everyone!

Instant asset reminder

A reminder that the Federal Government’s instant asset write-off has been extended until June 2022 for businesses earning up to $5 billion a year. For businesses that have a strong cash position, and can apply this write-off wisely, temporary full expensing with the instant asset write-off could be a good way to expand operations through the acquisition of equipment, vehicles or other core assets. 

BAS update
A reminder that Super Guarantee Payments can’t wait for BAS and it’s easy to forget if you haven’t paid quarterly. The next SGC is due on January 28 so it’s good to be organised.
