Funding for primary producers
NSW primary producers directly impacted by the November 2021 floods are now eligible for grants of up to $50,000. To be eligible, primary producers must derive 50 per cent of their income from the industry and be located in one of the 48 disaster-declared Local Government Areas. The funding can be used to help salvage damaged crops, produce and stock, rebuild fences and replace machinery. Contact the RAA on 1300 678 593 or online via raa.nsw.gov.au for more information.

Service NSW update
If you live in the Gilgandra area and use Service NSW for your vehicle registrations, you will need to provide a wet signature for any primary producer declarations as e-signatures are not accepted at this agency.

Are you a Company Director?
As a company director, under new legislation, you are now required to obtain a director identification number (director ID). The fastest way is using the myGovID app. This is not myGov. Please call us if you need help to set this up as soon as possible and we can talk you through the process.

Hubdoc features

You may not know all of the features that Hubdoc has, so it is worth exploring some of the possibilities. It can be used as an electronic filing cabinet, it connects to Xero and processes invoices automatically and you can split items into categories for added convenience. It’s free and at your fingertips so make the most of what it has to offer.

New in Xero
Speaking of features, there’s a lot you can do in Xero including paying multiple invoices using batch payments, the ability to store documents online for easy access or connect to your bank for automatic bank feeds. If you haven’t discovered Xero yet, let us know and we can introduce you to its convenience.

Service NSW vouchers
As mentioned last month, the latest Dine and Discover NSW vouchers are now available. If you haven’t set up your account yet, call in to your nearest Service NSW centre or call 13 77 88 to enquire about accessing the vouchers. Expiring on 30 June, if you don’t use it, you will lose it.

ATO update
We are also still working on the best way forward for adapting to the ATO’s paperless operation and will keep clients posted in the near future.
