Super guarantee deadline

The next deadline for Super Guarantee payments is April 28. So that means if you use a clearing house, you will need pay by April 21.

Dine and discover

The NSW Government has launched Dine & Discover NSW to encourage the community to get out and about and support dining, arts and tourism businesses. NSW residents aged 18 and over can apply for 4 x $25 vouchers, worth $100 in total. This includes two $25 Dine NSW vouchers to be used for dining in at restaurants, cafés, bars, wineries, pubs or clubs along with two $25 Discover NSW Vouchers to be used for entertainment and recreation, including cultural institutions, live music, and arts venues. The vouchers can be used seven days a week, including public holidays and can be used at participating NSW businesses that are registered as COVID Safe. They are valid until 30 June 2021. If you have the Services NSW app all you need to do is click on ‘vouchers’ and follow the prompts.

Small business fees and charges rebate

If you are a sole trader, the owner of a small business or a not-for-profit organisation in NSW, you may be eligible for a small business fees and charges rebate of $1500. The rebate can only be used for eligible fees and charges due and paid from 1 March 2021 such as trade licences and council rates and cannot be used for fines or penalties. The rebate will be available until 30 June 2022. Final days of JobKeeper

The JobKeeper payment scheme finished on March 28. For those clients still eligible, monthly business declarations need to be completed by April 14 to receive final payments. Visit ato.gov.au for more information.
